Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to your use of fluffypawspetmobile.com, the website of Fluffy Paws Mobile Pet Grooming ("Fluffy Paws", "we", "us"). Please read them before using the site.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using our website, or by sending us a message through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms apply to every visitor, whether you are only browsing or you are already a client.
You must be at least 18 years old to request a service or send us a message through the website. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
What We Do
Fluffy Paws is a mobile pet grooming business. We groom dogs and cats at the client's address, in our own mobile grooming unit, by appointment only. We serve Broward County and Palm Beach County, Florida, Monday through Saturday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Our website is informational. It describes our services and lets you contact us. It does not sell services online, does not process payments, and does not create accounts. Filling out the contact form or sending a message does not book an appointment and does not create a contract between you and Fluffy Paws.
Appointments and Pricing
An appointment exists only after we confirm it with you directly by phone, text message, or email. Any price shown on the website, on social media, or in general material is an estimate. The final price depends on your pet's size, breed, coat condition, behavior, and the services requested, and is confirmed with you directly before the service.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as soon as you can so we can offer the time to another client. We may also need to reschedule because of weather, traffic, a vehicle problem, or an emergency, and we will let you know as soon as possible.
Service Area
We serve Broward County and Palm Beach County, Florida. Some addresses near the edges of these counties may fall outside our route, and we will tell you when you contact us. We may decline or cancel an appointment if the location cannot be reached safely or if there is no safe and legal place to park the mobile unit.
Your Responsibilities as a Pet Owner
So that we can groom your pet safely, you agree to:
- Tell us the truth about your pet's health, including illness, injury, allergies, skin conditions, recent surgery, seizures, pregnancy, age-related fragility, and any medication.
- Tell us about your pet's temperament and any history of biting, scratching, or aggression toward people or other animals.
- Tell us before the appointment about fleas, ticks, or any contagious condition.
- Keep your pet's vaccinations, including rabies, current as required by law and by your veterinarian.
- Make sure we can reach the address at the scheduled time and that there is a safe, legal place to park the mobile unit.
- Be present, or leave a responsible adult at the location, to hand over and receive your pet.
- Keep other pets and small children away from the mobile unit during the appointment.
Holding back information about your pet's health or behavior puts your pet and our groomer at risk. If we find a condition you did not disclose, we may stop the service and still charge for the time reserved.
Our Right to Refuse or Stop a Service
The safety of your pet and of our groomer comes first. We may refuse, pause, or stop a grooming session at any time, even before it is finished, if:
- The pet becomes aggressive, panicked, or too stressed to continue safely.
- The pet shows signs of illness, injury, or pain, or a condition that should be seen by a veterinarian.
- The coat is severely matted and cannot be groomed without risk of injury, in which case we may need to shave it short.
- The location, the weather, or the people present make the work unsafe.
- We are treated in an abusive, threatening, or discriminatory way.
If we stop a session for one of these reasons, we will explain why, and the time already spent may be charged. Grooming a senior pet, a pet with health problems, or a severely matted coat carries risks that exist even with careful handling, and you accept those risks when you book the service.
In an emergency, if we cannot reach you, you authorize us to seek veterinary care for your pet at your expense.
